When Sandro is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, doctors tell him he will eventually forget entire periods of his life. Before this happens, his son, the filmmaker Giacomo Boeri, asks his father to write about the most evocative memories of his life for Giacomo to stage and film. The results are beautifully executed, colourful and whimsical cinematic episodes, narrated by Sandro. Written with quiet humour, sharp wit and poetic observations, Sandro’s stories surprise his son and family and become a way to get to know a man who has not always been an open book. Interweaving family interviews, archival materials and Sandro’s memories, Giacomo spins a heartfelt and touching father-son story, illuminating the fragile threads of love, loss and remembrance that bind a family together.

Question asked : would they have agreed to broadcast this document and if not, why not ? The investigation itself is objectively searching : anything can be said on TV except one thing, the more or less close collusion of journalists and the political powers. Pierre Carles gives us a sharp reflection on the scope of this "fourth power" that the media have become, and on the compromises of those who are its masters.

Brazilian skateboarding legend Sandro Dias made history, breaking two Guinness World Records™ after dropping in from the curved facade of the 22-story Centro Administrativo Fernando Ferrari (CAFF) building in Porto Alegre, Brazil. During the project, named Red Bull Building Drop, Dias hit a speed of 103kph, skating from a height of 70m with a drop of 60m, which was measured from the lowest point of the ramp to the platform. Dubbed the "ultimate skate ramp" by local fans, the CAFF's towering 88.91m-high structure had been transformed into a temporary skate playground with a custom plywood overlay, creating the perfect surface for Dias's groundbreaking drop-in.
